What OSCEY does for the NAC OSCE

What is the format of the NAC OSCE?

Who needs to take the NAC OSCE?
Most international medical graduates applying to Canadian residency through CaRMS need a NAC Examination result. Provincial practice-ready programmes also use it. Check the requirements of the programmes you are applying to.
What does the NAC OSCE assess?
History taking, physical examination, diagnosis and management, communication and interpersonal skills, and professionalism — at the level expected of a doctor entering Canadian postgraduate training.
How does OSCEY's NAC circuit work?

Are counselling and ethics stations included?

Does OSCEY help with CaRMS interviews?
No. OSCEY practises clinical OSCE stations only — patient encounters under time pressure — not programme interviews or application documents.
What language does OSCEY run in?
OSCEY runs in English. The NAC Examination is offered in English and, at some centres, French; OSCEY currently supports English consultations only.
